HI from Oklahoma,

My vet has prescribed Frontline Plus also. He recommends that I split the dose between my 5 lb Yorkies. The med is for up to 22 pounds so it makes sense that 5 lb little ones would still benefit from 1/2 of the dose.

This is just my own experience...but it has worked fine without any problems.
