The duggar family has 18 children and they are home schooled, clothes are handed down and clothes are sewn (well now the girls seem to be wearing store bought clothes) and they budget and have no debt so they are in good shape financially. My problem with them is that they have to buddy up and the older children take care of the younger ones. I think when you need the other children to care for the younger ones then you have too many. I understand that kids need chores and responsiblity but rearing their siblings is a bit much. That is the parents job so when you need to set up buddy systems to get things done then you need to reexamine what exactly your doing.
