I'm sorry, neither one of mine has done that, so I was trying to figure out why because it is a natural thing, especially when they are out of their comfort zone. The only thing I can think of is making sure each has their own stuffed toy and a blanket to cuddle with and I make sure I get on the floor with mine and play or just sit with them. Lacey was so tiny, I put a really fluffy blanket in her crate so she would feel nice and warm. She's over a year old and still loves that blanket. Since I am retired and my husband is ill, we are home practically all the time, perhaps that's it, they are rarely alone and therefore feel so secure all the time.
