# 1 its panic, but I believe its more of a financial thing. No one lilkes vet bills. They get astronomical. people usually are hoping that they can avoid vets by someone giving them a quick fix they can do at home. Also no one wants vet fees for somthing that they could have taken care of on their own. (though Im not saying this is what I do or agree with it, just what I think is happening)

I think there are lots of unexperienced pet owners out there. more than experienced owners.

HOWEVER, I do agree that there are lots of cases where you really need to use common sense and recognise when its an emergency.
