For me, it depends on why she's crying. If she cries because I've left her upstairs while I go down to switch the laundry, then I ignore it. When she was crying because I'd put her in her ex-pen for the night, I couldn't ignore it. She now sleeps in bed with me. I didn't want her to feel lonely
