buckeye had his teeth cleaned today.
the vet said stop al food and water at 8PM last night.. we did. they said to have him there by 7:30 this morning. we did. i called at 11:30 this morning to see how he was doing. they had not yet started on him. i called again at 1:30 to see how he was doing.. they were out to lunch and would not be back until 2:15. i called again at 2:20 to see if i could come get him yet. they said they would have to call me back he was just waking up. they called me at 3 said i could come get him at 3:30. i was there at 3:25 to pick him up.
they said not to give him food or water until tomorrow morning.
he is begging......i feel so bad. he is very active . no signs of being weak or anything like that. my question is do you think i could give him a few morsels of food and little water? i know the vet said no because it might make him sick.. but.... i am sure you know how much he is wanting something. what do i do give in or stick to nothing?
