You might be feeling a food that is high in grains which makes the poop just a little more yummy

Try the pineapple but I would also suggest that you look at the food you are feeding. If it has a lot of grains then it might be a good idea to switch to something with not as many fillers.
The pineapple will change the taste of the food so that is why you feed them it. Good is good and will not harm them so give a few pieces a couple of times a day. If you still have a poop eater give a piece or two more. It's not a forever thing (feeding pineapple) you just want them to think it tastes bad so they stop. Once they stop after a while you can cut back or stop.
