I agree with the other posters. Your not asserting yourself as the leader. If he nips at you and is aggressive, thats a bad sign. When he does this, do you tell him "NO". Simply moving him into another room isnt addressing the problem. He needs to be in the room when there is food and you should be making him sit at a distance, while watching you eat. Also, giving him table scraps doesnt help either.
I had to learn the hard way that these are our "furbabies" not our "babies". Allowing them to eat what we eat and do what we do, does not help a dog be a dog. IMO.. Hope this helps, good luck
