I agree with you. Have her checked by a Board Cert. Ortho Specialist, as being that she is a young pup and is limping already, I would venture the LP is Grade 4, and that she was born with it, she may not even have a patella, as that is sometimes the case when they are pups are showing signs (limping, carrying the leg, the cracking noise, etc...)

Small toy breeds recover quite well from LP surgery, and she will be a brand new girl, if that's the case
