For ibd, I'd get him on a probiotic, digestive enzymes, and some fiber. Do you have Benefiber there? It is tasteless and you only need to give a tiny dose for small dogs.

A fish-based diet can be of tremendous help to a dog w/ ibd - it is considered the most hypo-allergenic protein for dogs, in general. A homecooked fish diet would truly let the intestines rest and enable them to heal while you're giving supplements and meds. Did the vet talk about a homecooked diet? Or are you more comfortable w/ dry food?

Here is an article on ibd:

Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) in Dogs
I found the drug online even without prescription, but the pills are the same size 500mg.And the other big problem is our Location. I’m going to ask petmeds (com, co.uk. ) if they ship to Bulgaria and if a Bulgarian prescription will do. Benefiber I can buy from amazon.co.uk.
I have a probiotic at home and it contains just enterococcus faecium.
For the food: She thinks is better if he is on prescription diet for at least 2 months(she is not very good at nutrition), and because the experience was so scary( I still want the time to stop at 7-8 pm every night) I’m afraid to switch him even to dry. In USA Royal Canin have 4 prescription diets good for IBD, colitis ,but they are not available in Europe(duck and potato, venison and potato, rabbit and potato and fish and potato). The ones we have here are meat based and are only two kinds Intestinal(dry and wet) and sensitive which is hypoallergenic, I’ll be happy to start cooking for him (I do it every day for us anyway) ,but with the supplements will be difficult. And I have to find recipes.
I’m very confused with the prebiotics, probiotics and the enzymes bc there are many brands and products and I can’t decide by myself which is good and which is better.
Most of the online shops won’t ship to Bulgaria. I searched EBay, but when I don’t know what to buy is useless. I found this web onlynaturalpet they have an online shop for Europe.
Popular brands here are Canina Austria, and Beaphar .
Thank you for the link, for the attention and for the advise.
I can buy fish based Orijen food ,just not sure the fat level is Ok for him right now and is dry.
