I just got logan done....it was $60 for the neuter, $15 for office visit, & $15 for rabies. He didn't need any teeth pulled, but my vet did check. At 8 months all his baby teeth should be out so if he still has some the vet should pull them. Getting a dog spayed is quite a bit more than a neuter. A spay is a more evasive surgery, the dog has to be under longer and they have to go deeper to remove both ovaries. In a neuter they make a small incision down by the little bits and press lightly on the sac. The little bits pop out and they remove them. It's really very simple. Once asleep the surgery takes under 5 minutes. Your dog should not have to stay overnight. Most vets allow them too, but you don't have to let a vet keep them.
