I think this is something people need to discuss and think about, versus just going out believing advertisements and doctors without extra thought. I'm in the demographics to get the vaccine and my doctors always recommend it when I see them. I'd been debating getting it and then I actually had a HPV/cancer scare last year. My original results came back not normal and I can certainly say I was besides myself before the analysis came back. The only thing that stopped me from getting it, frankly, was money since the shot series is very expensive (even with my insurance).
Through the entire experience though I found out something: HPV CANNOT be tested in men. So while you can say what you want about the vaccine (I decided not to get it simply because of so many negative/scary findings) it is great to try to prevent something that can be so easily spread, especially if the person that spreads it doesn't ever know they have it!
Back on topic though I think it's great for people to start thinking critically about things, especially medications! If nothing else this will hopefully have people start to think about things a bit more than they normally would!
