Every time I hear of one of those awards shows handing out trophy's to celebrities it just makes me cringe....I don't consider acting or signing a reason for a person to be celebrated, I just don't or can't watch those shows. I think the people who actually make a difference or makes the sacrifices to help the needy should be the ones applauded and admired......
I have to admire and respect all the people who are so dedicated to help others in need like .....

Peace Corps
International Health Volunteers - a medical services organization for people in need, as in Haiti
All the animal rescue people who are dedicated to saving the abused, used, and discarded...
