I just can not see paying over $1000 for any dog. Unless it a show dog. If people want a tiny they can find a breeder with a male and a female with a small but SAFE weight and pick out the runt and chances are at least where I'm from it's going to be well under $1000. Maybe I'm cheap maybe I'm jealous that I don't have $8500 laying around to buy a dog. But I honestly can't see my self paying that much for a yorkie (even if I had the $$) when you can get what you're wanting at a cheaper price from a reputable breeder. If you want to spend that kind of money, hey that's all you but I'm entitled to my opinion and I think it's just plain stupid! Too many people see all the celeb's running around with the little bitty dogs and run and buy one not knowing how to take care of it and the dog is the one that suffers. I'm not saying these people don't care about the dogs b/c some of them do but to most it's nothing more than a fashion accessory!
