Oh my, I wish I had your outlook on marking. That just cracked me up when I read it.

I'm no expert on marking (thank goodness) but this is my experience with it. My husband and I were just talking about this the other day. Rowdy's pee is more yellow when he marks and it also stinks way more than just regular pee. Unfortunately,

I have a very sensitive nose and if I walk into a room that he marked in, I know it right away - it never has time to dry!

I have seen Rowdy mark outside 20-30 feet and sometimes he walks, sometimes he lifts, jogs, runs as he's marking, so I don't think the leg lift has anything to do with it. He is 100% potty trained and only has the highly occasional mark inside when a pretty little girl walks by.

Thank goodness I have a tiled floor!
