I gargle every night with a few drops of tea tree oil in a mouthful of water. I'm careful not to swallow any, because it is toxic. However, it has a very strong smell. And, dogs' smell is so much stronger than our own. So I would imagine that a drop of the oil on a wall would smell super heavy duty to a dog. And would probably be pretty tough to actually lick/eat off the wall, as long as he didn't try immediately after you applied it. Just a thought.
