Hi and welcome to Yorkie Talk

I do wish you luck with your search, however, a lot of breeders are reluctant to let show quality dogs go, even when going to someone experienced in the show world. You may want to start attending some shows in your area and try to see if you can get someone to mentor you (I think that is what it's called) So, it may take awhile for you to find that puppy you're looking for, and you might have to drive or fly to get it as well.

Also, breeders who think their puppies might be show quality tend to keep them longer. This is a problem for some people as they want to get a puppy when it is still VERY young. Just an FYI.

Good luck though! I think it would be so much fun to show! When my husband retires from the Air Force, we'd like to persue that
