Default microchip

You can have your dog microchipped at any vets office that does it, I work for a vet. It is a simple procedure done with a syringe. The same syringe that is used for vaccines. There are only two magor companies that produce microchips for pets and they are AVID and Home again. They are done all around the world and the information which is a number in the chip is put into a data base with your information. Very good idea to have it done and inexspensive also. You can microchip as early as six weeks old. My yorkie was stolen 2 1/2 years ago and he was recently found in Florida. I now have him back thanks in part to AVID the company that made his chip. It does work and also can prove ownership because lets face it a lot of dogs do look alike .
