Well, I've been reading a lot and it is overwhelming. I need some help here, I bought him from a pet shop here in Orlando, FL on 1/24/09 and he was feeding him Purina Pro Plan - Chicken & Rice. Is that good or bad? I have no idea... I think he is eating well, and his poop is very stinky. hehehe I took him on his 1st. visit to the vet. and she told me that he have a respiratory infection and gave me some antibiotic which Im giving him twice a day. He do not look sick at all... he play a lot, run around... just like a normal puppy will do.

Is it ok for me to put him in his crate @ night and leave him in a different room... sometimes he cries a lot and my hubby gets mad hehehe
If I start working, should I find someone to take care of him or is ok to leave him in my laundry room with food water, toys, blanket and a pee pee pad (his doing great on that).? HELP HELP HELP! and the last thing... should I keep him (I got until tomorrow to return him or exchange for another puppy) but I'm already in love with him and my Kids & husband!!!! Wow... I think Im done.. hehehe

Hi, wecolme to YT. Max is a cutie!!! I don't think Purina Pro Plan is such a great food. You may want to take a look at the ingredients listed. Right now I feed my furbabies Canidae and Bil Jac kibble, mixed with Wellness wet food. However, I'm planning to switch both of them to Natural Balance. There's alot of folks on YT that may be able to suggest other food for you. Also, on YT there's a super premium pet food list that you can request free samples from the company (see link below). If you plan to change his food you may want to make sure that he's fully recovered from his respiratory infection first. Also when you plan to switch food, you should do it gradually over the course of a week or longer (if needed).

It's fine to put him in his crate at night, but he shouldn't be too far from you. Before you put him in the crate for the night, make sure he goes potty first and then if he starts whining a lot, you should check to see if needs to go potty again. I wouldn't leave him in the crate that long. In the past and with my current pup, I only leave them in the crate no more than 3 hours and then will let them out to got potty and play a bit. While you go to work you should definitley have someone check up on him every few hours.

As for your last question, that's a tough one on whether you should keep him. Please be advised that most pups coming from pet stores are from puppy mills. I'm sorry I can't really help you with that last question. Good luck!!!
