I dont think its just Florida that is experiencing the lost of jobs and foreclosures. I think its everywhere. Moving is great...as long as you plan for it and can financially do it. The smart choice would have been to apply for a job while your son was still at home with you. Many employers now recruit over the internet making it easy to do. That way when he went down there he could start working immediately. Yes...jobs are hard to come by nowadays....make sure he is persistent in looking...otherwise the little money that he has will end quickly. Housing is cheap down there...but everything else is the same. Good luck to your son!
