You're right...$500 is so little to pay for a puppy...HOWEVER...if a breeder wants to charge that little, it's their right. Breeders that want to charge $5000-8500 is also their right but look at the dog. It isn't show quality...it's too small for the ring. I'm not sure, but I don't think that show dog breeders charge that much for their puppies. These people are specifically just trying to make a buck. While the dogs are "cute", I would not and could not charge that much for a puppy.
