Asking this much for a pup/dog is almost a gaurentee (sp) that the pup/dog will be bought as a fashion accessory... those that buy yorkies for the love of the breed, generally do their homework and will know that this is an outragous (sp) price, they will also know that having an open spot in the bones in his head isn't normal, and by looking at the pictures you can tell something isn't right, they eyes are bulging and wide set... the pup in my eyes doesn't look like yorkie standard. This is why I believe setting the price for this pup isn't to ensure a good home, it will be a fashion statement, taking advantage of his small size to thicken ones bank account.

If you want to make sure the pup goes to a good home, price it way down to the normal range, interview the potential buyers, talk to their vets, visit their home.... you know, what most good reputable breeders do.

This is all just MHO, someone said their fear is that more people will breed too small of dogs trying to get very small pups, selling them at a high price... this is also my fear... reminds me of what puppy mills do, disregard the health of the dogs they are breeding, (in this case breeding way too small of dogs to get a small pup) and keep their bank accounts full....
