Fun isn't it? lol Does your baby bleed when losing teeth? That freaked me out! I found a bloody loofa doggie with teeth in it one morning.
To save your couch, I would recommend a kong chew toy. We bought one that we could freeze water in the middle of. The cold helps too. We also put down ice cubes on the kitchen floor and Gizmo was entertained for quite a while. A chew toy, cold and an ice hockey game all in one.
And cheer for every one of those little teeth you find. For Gizmo every tooth the vet had to remove later was like $30 or so. So look at it as money saved.
