At that age he is not overweight. It is very important to feed puppies often and unfortunately just because the breeder estimated his weight does not mean that is set in stone. He will most likely be a large yorkie, given his weight at that age.

He's at a training class????? Are his puppy shots complete? I would be really nervous to expose him to other dogs without a complete course of vaccinations.
