My hubby is a 6ft 2 inch, 295 lb fire chief (now retired). He drives a motorcycle, pickup (he has 2) and the best...a VW bug complete with a flower in the car vase. He shows up at work on his day off with both puppies. Roscoe in his blue flame harness and Sparkle in her bows and red and yellow fire harness. The other firemen asked him thier names. Can you just picture my big man in the deepest of voices, bellowing out from his VW with the grateful dead blaring from the radio, "Oh, man, this is Roscoe and Sparkle." One guy asked him what was up with the wussy car and fu fu dogs. He looked at that guy and said, "I am secure in my manhood son and my dogs have more character than any one of you". You should have seen the shift of 28 big burly men ooing and ahhing over my tiny dogs. It was great!
Hubby also is responsible for bathtime. He showers with both my pups AND they sleep with him every night. I get the whole half the bed to my self. It is FANTASTIC! He loves his baby dogs. |
