Buying from some "off brand" registries "you're directly supporting puppy mills" I WILL NOT SUPPORT THAT, it bastardizes the breed and does not consider defects, their breeding program is based on "quantity NOT quality!"
Any registry that allow a person to reg their dog without proof as to is ancestory is irresponsible and does not care about the purity and standard of a breed. Many of these registries exist for the money of providing papers to a dog that would be considered substandard.
Papers are important if you care about the health of your dog and if you cringe at the thought of supporting puppy mills.
