Jack would run run run run run and then poop. For a long time he never made it on the pad. He is 5 now and makes it 99% of the time. It just takes time. I think pad training is way harder than training a dog to go outside. There is more of a distinction between the space when your making your dog do their business outside versus on a little pad in one specific corner of the house.

Just keep doing what your doing and eventually your baby will get the hang of it. I live in Chicago and taking a 5 and half pound dog go outside in the dead of winter just didn't seem right to me. So I hung in there and went through A LOT of tissues from having to pick up little poops in random corners before he got the hang of it.
