Hm, Cindy, your reply confuses me

If you have an unlimited BlackBerry data plan then your e-mail, internet and BlackBerry Messaging are free.

I'm pretty sure that Yahoo Messenger uses texts. I think there are programs out there though that make it to where you don't use texts.

Like I said, if you would join Crackberry.com and do a search for any question you have, you will most likely find your answer in less than 5 minutes. It's a forum just like this except it's for BlackBerrys.

Also to clarify something else Cindy said, if you use SMS texting to another BlackBerry you WILL get charged for a text message. The free texting between BlackBerrys is the BlackBerry Messenger and you need the data plan for it.
