......and full clothing, and baby gates, and closed doors!!! To be absolutely positive in preventing preganancy, you need it all. I assume you plan on breeding them when they are old enough, otherwise they would be spayed and neutered?
It could be a crazy 3 weeks or more when she does go into heat as the male will bark, whine, & scratch at closed doors wanting and trying to get to the female. Do not let them near each other unless you have your eyes on them at all times. It only takes a minute for them to get at each other.
