He does not like taking a bath, brushed or his haircut so I don't want them to get frusturated with him and that is why I want to watch. At Petsmart the girl was very sweet and did what I wanted but at one point she brought him in the back and I didn't like that. I felt it was because I was watching and they put the dogs in a crate to wait. I understand they have to do that but I don't know what it is. It just made me uncomfortable especially when she went into the back with him.
I'm not sure how it is in petsmart but i worked at petco for a few months as a bather/brusher. the bathing tubs are in the back so yeah, the owners can't watch the bath time. there are cages back there too for after bath but certain breeds don't go in them.
