 she is about to pop!

i have a yorkie that is not due til the 12 of feb. I think any way. I have a couple questions. I have read that it takes 63 days for a pregnancy. Well my question is this. When do you start counting the days the first hook up or last? And then i have also read that their temp will lower to below 100 when they are going to have the babies. Are there exceptions for this rule? She started having contractions last night at 11pm and stopped at about 10 am this morning. No discharge but seems real tired and temp is 98. So should i expect them soon or not. This is my first litter and have tried hard to learn all i can but now i am getting nervous that i did not learn enough. Please let me know any thing you have to offer. Thanks in advance. |
