Well, I have two (7mo apart) and would say if you are thinking of ever getting another one, it's just as easy to train 2 as 1.
the only draw back is the cost and the vet bills, heaven knows they don't eat that much. My two are each others best friends. If one has to go to the vet and the other stays home-that one at home cries all the time the other one is gone. Actually Bubba, who is the older one, helped housebreak the younger one, Sissy (monkey see, monkey do). Do they fight? Oh, yes, but it's like an argument and they tell on each other. If one has something they should not have, there is a lot of barking and running to mommy.Welcome and good luck with you new baby(s).
