When we got Higgins at 8 wks old, one testicle had not dropped. However, it did drop in the next couple of weeks. At the time of his first visit, the vet was pretty sure it would drop. However, he said that if it should be retained, it definitely needed to be removed before it could cause any serious problems.
I agree with others here and wouldn't breed to a dog with any known genetic fault. |
