This case seems to mimick a little bit, the case that was in another country last year, where that father kept his daughter in that secret basement apartment while his wife had no idea (so she says). I have really lost hope in humanity lately.
Parents have allowed and caused such terrible things to happen with their own children so much anymore. One of my friends from church has been fostering 2 children, and 8 year old girl and a little boy thats almost 2. They are half-siblings. The father of the boy was raping the 8 year old girl and the mother knew about it and was ok with it. Now my friends might be adopting these 2 kids. Its bad enough that a man would do that to a child, but worse yet that a mother would allow it, and not even fight to have her kids back.
