A lot of young pups actually suffer from motion sickness too-- Lots of dogs outgrow it as they age, but it can be a source of distress in the car. Not feeling good ends up reinforcing the fear that they are feeling in an unfamiliar situation.
It'll hopefully get better as she ages if motion sickness is contributing to the distress. In the meanwhile, I'd try to reward her as much as you can to make the car trip enjoyable. Take her lots of fun places in the car-- the park, to obedience class, to doggie playgroups-- so that she begins to expect to go somewhere really neat each time she gets in the car. I think the anticipation helps to outweigh the anxiety...
