Distructive little buggers, ain't they? I have gotten to the point that I make my dogs toys most of the time. I bought canvas for outside use on furniture. I use it to wrap the squeeky in and sew around it. Them I cut a bone, gingerbread man, circle, just some elementary shape and make sure it is big enough after you sew and turn to put the squeeky in. Then just stitch it up. You can buy a strip of plain sqeekies at Pet Smart for a coupla dollars.
The canvas is sturdy and tough so their teeth cannot chew thru the squeeky as easily. I have made canvas discs and they love that too. The last ones I made were leopard print ear muffs. Hey, I am Recycled Queen..LOL
