Keep going the way you are, it will work out. My Zeke, was 5 years old when we brought 13 week Baxter home. Zeke came to the kitchen we said HAPPY BIRTHDAY bubby, here is a new brother. Zeke growled, and went into the other room. It took Zeke 3months!!!! to come into the same room as the puppy! AND when he finally did, he refused to look at baxter. I could imagine any dog being so stubborn. Well to the end of the story, tomorrow, that will have been a year, and not Zeke is when ever Baxter is touched or talked to, he has to be right in there. If Bax gets any attention, Zeke needs to be on your lap also, A little hard when he is 23lbs, and Bax is 10 ( yes he is a teacup LOL) so not we just call Zeke mr GreenJeans lol.
Now I am not suggesting it will take a year. I thing zeke was the acception, but it will get better. I PROMISE. Just hang in there.
