We'll it does take some time to crate train, It takes alot of patience, but the family members do need to let you do the training and everyone needs to be on the same page really. Do you keep him in the crate all the time? Even with crate training you have to take them outside on a regualr schedule and it is also good to take him outside for walks so he can smell the other dogs, this helps with potty training to and can make them learn faster.
