I meant exactly what I said about Nature's Logic not using any synthetic vitamins and minerals in their products. While I'm always trying to learn more about our pets' foods, I'm certainly no expert. I do know that kibble can be produced in two ways; either by baking or extrusion. Of the two, baking exposes the food to less heat and that is how Nature's Logic is made. There are other brands that use the baking method also. As with other brands, Nature's Logic sprays on the really heat sensitive things at the end of the process. From what I've seen, the amount of vitamins and minerals added varies widely with other brands, with grainless foods typically needing to add less. I take that to mean that less is needed mostly due to the higher meat content found in grainless foods, along with the quality of the other ingredients. NL has taken it a step further in their formula and doesn't need to add any. I was skeptical, too, at first but have seen my dogs really thrive on it. The NL website offers a LOT of info about their food if you take the time to read it. Also, if you have any further questions, I've found the company to be very responsive. It is a unique formula and I understand the skepticism but I'm convinced that, based on the totality of the ingredients and the lack of synthetic vitamins and minerals, that this is the best choice I could make of all the kibbles out there.
