when i was about 14, i was out with some friends and came home to my mom crying.. she ended up telling me that my baby, Maggie, had been hit by a car going about 50mph down our road.. Maggies littermate, Daisy - my sisters dog, saw everything. they never stopped. til this very day Daisy hasnt acted the same. im choking up as im writing.. i miss her so much... i still have her collar and her favorite toy put away in a cabinet bc i cant stand seeing it..
anyway.. my mom wrote a poem about it and put it in the newspaper along with a picture - its one of the most heartbreaking thing youll ever read |
