They are much healthier than a tampon because there is no risk of TSS, and I have heard they are more comfortable as well. They are also supposed to decrease your flow as well over time as they do not draw fluid in the way an absorbant product would.
Now that I have weaned my 19 month old, I should be resuming a regular cycle soon and I am going to try a diaphram, since I already have one of those
Yeah, I read that there was no related cases to TSS. I don't really like pads cuz they seem to always cause me to have a mild case of thrush after each cycle no matter what brand/absorbancy or how often it's changed. Tampons I can use but I get SUPER paranoid about TSS and I'm constantly clock watching and if I feel even slightly weird for even a millisecond I go into full scale panic mood about TSS.

Wow, 19months and you still don't have your cycle? Amelia is 1 and I'm still nursing her and my cycle started again at 6months. I lucked out.

Here's a start. https://www.everydayminerals.com/for...action=search2
Thanks Nikki. I'll have a read of that.

Wish I'd had one 30 years ago..........
Is it practical? I mean like when you're out and you have to use public conviences.
