Oh, I'm so sorry. Please, tell your brother that there are people who do care and relate to the pain that you all are feeling. Hugs to you both.

Several years ago, I was driving home on a busy country road and a large dog came out from around a group of trash cans by the edge of the road. I did not have time to stop and ran over him..right in front of his 14 yr old owner and his family. I stopped and several others and I moved Buddy to the side of the road. I stayed with them and Buddy until a neighbor could bring his pickup. We loaded him in the back and did not leave until they found a vet to take him to. It was an awful situation and I tried to do all that I could to comfort the family.
I believe that I did what I had to do, what we are all expected to do.
We have a choice in life: To do what is easy or to do what is right.
