I have read something like that too, with a different example. I just can't see how the vitamins, minerals and amino acids from actual food source stay in tact, per say, through the cooking process. You know much nutrients are lost through cooking vegetables for us, let alone if we cooked them to a crisp. I am just having a hard time wrapping my brain around it.

That said, to the OP- I am glad you found a food little Snick will eat. Hope he keeps on keepin' on!
