 Maggie fell off my bed!!!
O.K so my husband was playing with Maggie on our bed(I was not home)and she fell off.He said at first she would not walk using her hind legs...then after a few minutes she did but VERY gingerly.He came to the gym to tell me and of course I flew home.Usually when she hears my car pull in the garage she comes running.She did not.I did watch her walk from one couch to the other..(where I sat) and it does not seem like anything is broke.She has not moved since.She has been curled up in the same spot for the last hour.I called the vet and their suggestion was to let her relax and when she gets up watch her movements and try to determine how much pain she is in.They do not feel I need to rush in for x-rays just yet.I dont either AT THIS POINT.
So,I guess what I am asking is what kind of things should I look for to determine if she needs x-rays or if shes just going to be sore for a few days???I am trying to remain calm and not over react.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
