Someone posted a link to this thread, and I have spent a long time here reading...and now crying.
There is so much I could say, but it would take forever. What an absolutely wonderful story - an especially happy ending to a most unhappy beginning. I am both sad and happy. llcornell, I can only imagine how difficult tonight is for you. It is easier because you know this is a good thing for Ella, but I know you love her and will miss her terribly. I am happy that you will continue to be a part of her life, and I think it's wonderful that Denise will share it with all of us who have come to know Ella's story - even if only in the last hour or so. And Ella...she has gotten more beautiful by the day. She has the happy life that she has deserved for so long, and will be given the opportunity to help others have more happiness in their own lives. What a gift she has received - and will give to others. I am so inspired by the love and generosity I have seen on this board, and hope that one day, I may be able to do something so selfless, and make a big difference in someone else's life - skin or furry!
