AKC is a registery keeper they do not care if one breeds health problems or to the standard.

AKC does do inspections of commercial breeders and have suspended many. These commercial breeders have banded together and formed APRL, they own it, do you believe that they would be inclined to suspend themselves? This is just to fool the uneducated buyer who wants a "registered" dog. Many don't understand all registries were not created equally. The AKC is far from perfect, but that can't do more than state law allows.
