i don't mean to have this thread be discouraging to people about adopting animals. i think people should always adopt if they can. i looked and looked for a yorkie to adopt before i purchased milu from a breeder. i couldn't find one to adopt. and i felt very guilty buying a dog when i should have adopted. but i really wanted a yorkie, and i couldn't find one to adopt.
