I have a one and half year old yorkie. I trained him when he was very young to pee on the pad, which he does (with some occasional mishaps). But he never poops on the pad!

He will go into his own little private corner, hunch his back over, and walk while he poops. And then come back to me. I go pick it up off the carpet and flush it in the toilet.

This is getting annoying (I have been doing this for one year now) because I hate searching for where he pooped, plus its gross.

Is it too late to train him to go on the pad? I feel like he might start off the on the pad, but by the time he is done walking like a hunchback, it will fall on the carpet.

How do I train him to poop on the pad as well?
ps--he is very private about pooping, nobody can be around...not even me
