Is he licking her?.. If he tried he may just be tired. He knows she is not fully ready. Let them be apart for a while and let him rest. Put them together morning and evening. If she is backing into him, hold her still and keep her calm. Ignor him. Males don't like to be touched or talked to much at that time.
As for the girl,
She many not be ready. I took my female on day 8 and she was flagging but when he got umm to close it caused pain and she jumped away and growled.
2 days later she stood for him, backing up into him and lowering herself a little for his height.
My other girls are the same way. It sounds to me like the girl is getting ready but not quite there yet. Give her a little time.
