Her response "Oh, I think she breeds them."
Automatically I go into educate-mode. But there's a problem, some of the stuff I want to tell her about irresponsible breeders gets lost in translation. I'm trying to tell her in spanish (I'm fluent but clumsy sometimes in my translations) about the possible problems and how I don't want to give them business. But I think I came across as a snob. 
Did I do, or what I attempted to do the right thing??? Or will she now tell my dad what a snob his daughter is and say that I'm ungrateful for not wanting to accept her help? I don't think I approached it correctly!

A lot of these breeders that have a lot of puppies all the time are actually puppy brokers. I was looking for a puppy a while ago. I found an ad that advertised yorkies and another breed that acted like they were raising them as breeders. I called and spoke to a man that answered the phone and he told me the puppies were coming from a breeder in Missouri!
There are a lot of people that purchase from mills and then resell them at a huge profit. Most likely what this woman is doing. RUN!!!!!! You will find your baby please just try to be patient.
If she says anything to your dad having him tell her that you have decided to rescue instead.
